These terms cover your use of AgentReader at agentreader.xyz: the REST API, the remote MCP server, web search and the website (together, "the Service"). The Service is operated by AgentReader ("we", "us"), contact@agentreader.xyz. By using the Service you accept these terms. If you use it for an organisation, you confirm you may accept them on its behalf.
When you ask it to, AgentReader fetches a publicly accessible web page or PDF and returns its content as Markdown or JSON. It also runs web searches through our own search instance. You decide what gets fetched or searched.
We do not bypass bot protection, logins or paywalls. If a site blocks automated access, we respect that, and the read fails.
Don't use the Service to:
You choose what to fetch and what to do with the result. You are responsible for having the rights to use that content and for respecting the source site's terms and copyright. We don't own the content you fetch, and we don't check whether you may use it.
Fetched pages can contain wrong or manipulative text, including instructions aimed at AI agents. Treat the output as untrusted input.
We may limit or suspend access, or disable an API key, if we reasonably believe you're breaking these terms, putting the Service or others at risk, or if the law requires it. We may change, pause or stop the Service or any part of it. If we shut it down permanently, we'll give reasonable notice and refund unused prepaid credits.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". We don't guarantee that it will be available without interruption, that it can read any particular page, or that its output is complete or accurate.
As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profits or lost data. Our total liability for all claims is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, which is zero if you used only the free tier. Nothing here limits liability that cannot legally be limited, or your mandatory consumer rights.
See our Privacy Statement.
We'll post updates here with a new date, and give advance notice on the site for material changes. If you keep using the Service after a change takes effect, the new terms apply.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands. Mandatory consumer law of the country where you live still applies.
